Favorite Pictures

I like these pictures I'm not sure if there my best. But these are the ones that I liked.
I think that I have learned so much just in this one term. I have also learned what I like to take pictures of. The Berries, the orange hat, the pears and the vase are my favorite. But then again I like my other pictures a lot. I'm glad that I decided to do photo again this year, because I really love photography.

Portraits

This assignment was fun but I definetly didnt get some of the pictures that I wanted because people are hard to tkae pictures of, becasue they are worried about what they look like or there posing for a picture. But I know if I had more time would be able to get some really cool pictures.

Free Shoot

I think this picture of my cousin Max is so cute. Its a little yellow, but his whole suit is yellow.

This was an ify projects for me. I found it harder to take pictures if I didn't have guide lines. So I think iI rely on to much on the instructions of our assignments because lately I've had some opportunities to shoot for some people and I have to figure out what looks good and what doesn't. I like some of my pictures. The outside ones all have the same light because they are a series, but other than that I know that this is not one of my better assignments.

complementary color

This assignment was not my favorite because i had a really hard time finding things to take pictures of, or set up colors that look okay together. I personally liked the monochromatic assignment because i found it easier to put the same colors together.

Although i didn't like this assignment the first time I shot. But the second time I really started to see how I could put objects together to make an interesting picture. I found that if I stuck with the same color instead of trying to find new colors to put together every time I came up with more ideas.

Once I started to take pictures of the green and pink a whole new set of ideas came into my mind. I started to see how if I had the light hitting just the right spot how my picture would light up rather than just being dark. And I personally like color so after I stopped trying to just do the assignment , I started to take pictures to make a picture.

It's a little repetitive but these are the colors that I liked and actually got something out of them so I kept with them. I really shoes and I like clothes with a good texture.

Irving Penn

So Irving Penn took these pictures. And these two are just some of my favorites that I found on the web.

To start off with is the picture of the ruffled dress. I really like how he captured the shadows from the ruffles. The net on the hat kind of makes her face looks mysterious:)


The second picture of the mouth is interesting because of how the lip stick is layered on. And its artistic because of the way it is spread on. Its not just put on just straight its spread onto her face.


The third picture is my favorite. I love the freckles on her face. And her eyes are really cool!
Her face looks like it tells a story. I personally like it because its dark. And i tend to like my pictures dark.

Monochromatic

So I think this project was one of my favorites. After I started taking pictures of monochromatic every where i went i started trying to put colors together to makes pictures. I thought this project was a lot of fun. My favorite pictures though are the pears, the crow, and the plums .
