Final Evaluation

This year has been really stressful. I chose to take photo over playing in the orchestra which was a hard decision for me. But I knew that this was a class that I wanted to take. I personally think I did really well this year. I know that some of my projects I could have done better but I have progressed so much from last year.
I'm so happy that Abby (Shwendie) was able to me in my class this year. I had a lot of fun making fun of Abby the space cadet. And that shes actually not that great at the ultimate punch.May the ancestors protect me. lol. Although she is a good friend i learned how to laugh at her jokes which in fact are not that funny . Just kidding Abby is actually really funny. (only said this because she said that my mom goes to college) We are so funny.
Abby. Disregard this paragraph :) I heart Shwendie!!!!!!!!!! jk lol no really shes so funny not. If it becomes random any time soon its because were in a dissing contest. To bad that abby thinks shes going to kill me fist a other way around ps just really kidding. maybe
I really like the assignments that we did. Anything that had to do with color such as monochromatic or analogues were projects I loved . I think the hardest thing for me is when we weren't given specific instructions on how the project should go. I actually had to think for myself. ( that sounds bad) but its true. When you dont have someone else to guide you. You have to find your own way to be creative.
Photo is important in my life because every where I go, I have my camera. And everything I see can be turned into art. I'm constantly looking at new ways to take pictures of things. I'll walk by a shelf and wonder how I can take a picture of the top corner and make it mean something. I really do love photography its something that wont just stop when the class is over it will be something I can use through out my life. Photography is just another way to see the world.

A Picture That I Like

So this is a picture that I like and I changed it into black and white from color. I really like how sharp the eye is. In color her eye is a bright green, but I liked the over all picture in black and white. So the top one is my original picture.

Final Project

So big hair runs in the family. So few people can actually make their hair this big. But I like this idea because I think I can make it interesting. For this set of pictures I did a before and after kind of thing.
But then I also just tried taking pictures of just hair and part of a face. So sort of sampling on what iI can do I know though that I want to do my project on hair. My mom brushed her hair out and so did my aunt Betsy who is the blonde one:) My hair would look like this if I did the same thing. I wish that we could have gone places outside with good lighting but its hard to find just the right background. I love to take pictures of hair. I think that im going to keep taking pictures of people and there hair and all the different styles and colors. If you noticed I liked to focus on the lips and then having the hair being the back ground.

Final

So for my project I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. One of my favorite ideas is taking pictures of big hair. But i have to figure out how to make them interesting. Its hard though to find people with big hair. I guess its a good thing it runs in my family because ill have some options.
