I like this picture because the mittens
sort of blend into the floor.

This is before I did the touch ups. So its is really dark.







I made the picture lighter.

Vase #1

This is after I did the touch ups. I made the
picture a little darker. I like dark pictures.
So if you notice a lot of my pictures are darker
than most.









This is the project where we had to change


the apperture. I want to make it look lighter.


But I like the darks.

Milk #2

I changed it to look a little
brighter. So its not so flat. I like
the dark counter and the glass of
milk next to the jug.

It looks a little flat. There isnt
really any contrast. I want to make it
a little lighter so its not so flat.

Gizmo

Gizmo (the dog) looks a little flat and the
background has a funny color that i want to
change. You can see a tail in the corner which
I want
to remove.

Jeeter

This is after I used the healing brush. You can see
where I took tthe things off of the floor , and made
the dog a little lighter. And made my whites stronger.

Mountain

I like this picture because i took it in the middle of the day. I like how you can see the moon and it shows a white . I like how the mountain slopes and it shows the edge of the mountain with the dark trees as a border.

For an assingment we had to shoot a picture of shoes. I took a Picture of boots. I love this picture. I had to change the curves and make the shadow darker and my whites sharper. In the end my picture had a whole new detail of black and whites.

I learned how to use curves and layers. and that i need to look at my historgrams.

Manuel Alvarez Bravo

I like Alvarez because he captures pictures of every day life. He also took pictures in Mexico. His angles of his pictures are intresting also.
